Welcome back to our educational series focusing on mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy! This will be our last week highlighting mHBOT, but don’t get too sad because we have plenty to share about the other therapy modalities we offer. This week we discuss the frequency of mHBOT sessions and share information on our different pricing structures.
Quick Review
Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT) involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber at a level slightly higher than atmospheric pressure.
mHBOT leverages this increased atmospheric pressure by enhancing the body's intake and utilization of oxygen, thereby accelerating healing and recovery processes, improving cellular metabolism, and offering various health benefits due to better oxygen circulation.
By this point, you also know the role mitochondria play as energy producers for the entire body and how mHBOT can help improve mitochondrial dysfunction.
How often can I do a mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy session?
The frequency of mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT) sessions can vary widely depending on the condition being treated, the specific protocol recommended by a healthcare provider, and/or individual response. Generally, mHBOT is done in a series of sessions because its benefits are often cumulative. For therapeutic purposes, mHBOT schedules can range from once to twice a day to several times a week.
Here are some common protocols:
Acute Conditions
For issues like acute injuries or recovery from surgery, sessions might be more frequent, possibly once or twice daily over a shorter time frame.
Chronic Conditions
For chronic conditions, such as non-healing wounds, diabetic ulcers, or neurological conditions, the treatment might be spread over a longer period with sessions several times a week.
Wellness and Prevention
In cases where mHBOT is used for general wellness, anti-aging, or preventive measures, the schedule might be less frequent, such as once a week.
Memberships vs. A La Carte
Are you ready to give mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy a try but curious about the cost? We do our best to cater to our client’s individual needs and so we offer both memberships and a la carte bundle options.
Memberships offer a bit more bang for your buck, so to speak. You get sessions at a discounted per session rate when compared to a la carte bundles. Memberships auto-renew monthly and because you get a deeper discount with a membership, any unused sessions do not carry over. There are no contracts or commitments; you can cancel or pause at any time or switch to a different tier all with no penalties. Sessions in a membership are not shareable with another person, however, we do offer a 15% discount when you bundle memberships.
The other huge perk with doing a mHBOT membership is that you get an equal number of our core modalities to use each month in addition to your allotted mHBOT sessions! Core modality options include Whole Body Cryotherapy, Full Body Light Therapy, Infrared Sauna, and NormaTec Compression.
A la carte sessions may be purchased in bundles of 1, 5, or 10 sessions; the higher the quantity of sessions in the bundle = more savings for you. A la carte sessions never expire and are shareable.
This concludes our educational series on mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We hope you have enjoyed tuning in and strongly encourage you to give us a call if you have any questions.
